Deep breath IT'S HAPPENING! The Grumpfest Kickstarter is LIVE and I'm approximately 47% excitement, 52% terror, and 1% caffeine at this point.

Holy forking shirtballs, we're making moves! The Grumpfest Kickstarter is launched and already 8% of the way to our goal!
Confession time: I set the funding goal higher than what other authors recommend for a first campaign, because I wanted to break even if things went amazingly well, and at minimum not end up in the red. (Your girl likes to dream big but also has bills to pay.)
What happens if we don't make the goal? Well, I take my ball and go home, ugly cry into some ice cream, and we try again at a later date to bring this beautiful book baby to life in hardcover glory. Maybe with a lower funding goal.
BUT if you want to help make it happen NOW, here's how:
Make your pledge (Max promises to grumble appreciatively)
Share with anyone who will listen (and even those who won't)
Post on social media (tag me so I can shower you with virtual hearts)
Tell your grandma who secretly loves reading smut about her new favorite grumpy hockey player
I will be eternally and forever grateful for your support, whether you're pledging, sharing, shouting from rooftops, or just sending good vibes into the universe and prayers up to God.
Brief update on Sean and Jade: I know, I KNOW it was delayed. But it WILL be here before August 31st because Amazon has informed me they won't let me delay twice. (Apparently they have limits on author chaos. Who knew?)
So sometime in the next few weeks, you'll wake up to a "your preorder is ready!" notification and all will be right with the world. Sean's getting impatient, but perfection takes time.
This week has been BETTER on the health and migraine front! I'm cautiously optimistic, tentatively hopeful, and knocking on every piece of wood in a five-mile radius. The trend better continue or I'm going to have words with my neurological system.
Maybe it's the excitement of the Kickstarter, maybe it's the new health journey, or maybe my brain finally got the memo that we have THINGS TO DO. Whatever it is, I'm not questioning it.
