Hey there, fellow person who has ever done something terrifying and immediately felt better about it,
Real quick story before we get into it.
I've been door dashing lately. It's been a season β the kind where you do what you have to do and you keep going. I'm not going to unpack all of it. But last week, in the middle of a genuinely hard stretch, a complete stranger tipped me forty dollars.
Forty.
I sat in my car for a second and just felt it. Someone who didn't know me, didn't have to do anything, just decided to be generous anyway. A few nights later, another stranger. Twenty-five dollars.
I don't know who either of those people are. But if somehow you're reading this β thank you. You reminded me that people are good. I needed that more than you know.
Okay. Enough feelings. I have announcements.
π TLDR:
π» THE SILENT ONE FINALLY HAS A PREORDER
Ethan Walker hasn't wasted a word in fifteen years. The team thought that was funny enough to bet twenty dollars on.
Anya Volkova moved into his apartment β her brother's place, technically β and her brother had one thing to say about it: off limits. especially you.
The bet didn't survive the week.
Neither did Ghost's silence.
Brother's best friend. Forced proximity. Found family. A hero who guards the net for Orlando and guards everything else harder β until the one woman he shouldn't want makes every wall he's built feel like a suggestion.
This one is going to be something. I feel it in my bones. And preorder pricing won't last β lock it in now before it goes up at launch.

π¨ WE GOT A MAKEOVER
I did a thing.
My original Puck & Play covers will forever be my babies β I mean that sincerely. But I kept feeling like they weren't quite landing for the hockey romance genre the way they needed to. So I experimented.
New look across Grumpfest, Hotshot, and now Ghost. Fresh, genre-forward, and always subject to change because that's just how this works around here.
Take a look. Tell me what you think. I genuinely want to know.
And if you haven't read Grumpfest or Hotshot yet β now is a great time. Ghost's story hits harder when you know the team. π

π NEW MONTH. NEW BOOK.
Landry came to his family's lake house to disappear for a few quiet weeks after law school. No expectations. No distractions.
Then he walked into the kitchen and found Alexandra Bryant.
She's not the girl he remembers. She's grown up in every way that matters and she's standing there like she owns the space and every thought in his head. She's basically family. She's entirely off limits. She's under the same roof.
The lake turns slow and dangerous. Every look lingers a beat past what either of them can explain away.
Control, it turns out, is a lie he keeps telling himself.
Racing Hearts by Haley Cook is this month's Heartthrob of the Month feature β forbidden romance, slow burn tension, and the kind of inevitability that makes you cancel plans. Landry and Alexandra are the children of the leads from Haley's Driving Series, so if you want the full world, check out Driving Force and Driving with Heart in KU.
It is free. This month only. Through the book club.
